How to mint a 1/1 or an edition on VeChain

The BVM Factory is the quickest way to put one piece of art on VeChain. You do not write a contract and nobody has to approve it: you add the art, choose how many copies, set a royalty and sign once.
Create in the FactoryMint your NFT in four steps
- 1Add your artA picture, GIF or short video. Crop it, give it a name and, if you like, add properties and an alternative text.

What an edition is
An edition is a series of identical copies of one artwork, numbered 1 of N. In the Factory every copy is a separate NFT, so each can be sold, traded and held by a different person. A 1 of 1 is a single, unique piece.
What it costs and what you earn
Creating is free for you, BVM pays the network fee. When a piece sells, BVM keeps 5% and the rest is yours. On every resale you earn your royalty.
Factory or Launchpad?
Use the Factory for single pieces and small editions. For a full collection with mint phases, an allowlist and a reveal, use the Launchpad.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own smart contract to mint a 1/1?
No. The Factory mints from the shared BVM Factory contract, straight from your wallet.
How many editions can I mint at once?
Up to 25 in one go.
Can I list my NFT for sale while I mint it?
Yes. You can set a price in the same step, so it is for sale as soon as it exists.
