Short answers to the things people ask most, for collectors and for creators.
A phase is a period with its own rules: who may mint, what it costs, in which token and how many per wallet. Phases run one after another, or overlap, and you can add more after you deploy.
Once a phase has started it is locked: buyers saw the rules and they will not change under them. A phase that has not started yet can still be edited.
You set steps: while fewer than N tokens are minted, the price is P. Early buyers pay less and the price moves up as the collection sells.
If one purchase crosses a step, every token is charged at the price of its own step, so the amount shown is exactly what you pay. If someone else mints first and a step moves while you sign, a small margin is sent along and the contract refunds what it does not use.
Each phase is priced in one token. The creator and BlackVeMarket (5%) are paid in that token inside the mint transaction itself, so nothing is held back by a contract or by us.
For a token other than VET the first mint also asks you to allow the contract to take it. That happens in the same transaction.
A list of wallets that may mint, each with its own amount. It is stored in the contract, so nobody can change it behind your back. Large lists take a few wallet signatures; use Check on-chain afterwards to see how many wallets already have their spot.
Only wallets that hold NFTs of the collections you choose can mint. You can add several collections and require a minimum balance of one of them.
With one mint per NFT, every qualifying NFT can be used once in that phase, even if it is sold on afterwards. That option only works with ERC-721 collections.
Minters send NFTs of another collection to a dead address and get a new token in return. Burned NFTs cannot be recovered, so make the offer clear on your page.
Tokens only the creator can mint, for free: for the team or for giveaways. They count in the total supply but are never sold to the public. The reserve is fixed when you deploy.
With a hidden reveal every token shows a placeholder until the reveal. In a shuffled reveal, minting closes when the reveal starts and the chain draws one random number from the hash of a block that did not exist yet. That number rotates the whole list of artworks, so nobody, not even the creator, can mint knowing which piece they get.
Anyone can start and finish the reveal once it is open, so it cannot be held back. If the draw window is missed, it can simply be started again.
The pictures you upload are public links. The reveal decides who gets which piece, but for a true surprise upload the final art shortly before the reveal.
A fingerprint of all your metadata files in order, written in the contract before anyone mints: keccak256 over the keccak256 of file 1, file 2 and so on. After the reveal anyone can recalculate it from the published files; if it matches, nothing was swapped. The reveal page has a button that does the check in your browser.
You pay and your limits count, but the new NFTs go straight to the wallet you fill in. Handy for gifts or for minting to a hardware wallet.
Deploying costs only the network fee. BlackVeMarket keeps 5% of every paid mint, split inside the mint transaction. Free mints and your reserve have no fee. On resales the seller pays the marketplace fee and your royalty.
